Friday!!

I'm so glad it's friday! No school for a week!! Yay!! Thanksgiving is next week and I'm cooking this year. Here's whats on my menu-
Turkey of course!
Stuffing
Gravy
Sweet Potato Casserole
Mashed Potatoes
Cranberry Sauce
Brussel sprouts (yummm!)
Corn pudding
Macaroni and Cheese
Green Bean Casserole
Pumpkin Pie

I will be taking Wednesday afternoon off and have Thursday and Friday off!! I'm super excited!!
I recently got a 104 on my anatomy test and a 98 on my first aid and safety test!! GO ME!!

Custom Baby Bedding

A good friend of mine, Jennifer is having a baby girl. She is due in February and my gift to her is custom crib bedding! My friend, Jessica does custom bedding (along with many other things) and will be designing and creating the bedding and room accessories. I will be assisting her with this task. Jennifer and I went to Hancock Fabrics last week and she decided on these choices. A few days ago, Jessica and I went back to get the fabric and there was sale going on....50% off sale!! AND some of the fabrics original prices were reduced....like to $12.95/yd. and 50% off that equals AWESOME!!

I'm really excited to start this project and get some of it completed in time for her baby shower in December.

I also am knitting her a baby blanket...(pics to come later on that)

Another Friday Post!

School is awesome!! I'm not sure why it took me so long to go back. Mid term grades are in...Math- A, Anatomy- A, First Aid- A, and Developmental Psychology is a thorn in my side, I have a B. Working full time and going to school full time is rough. Did I mention I started volunteering at St. Mary's Hospital on Sundays?! I'm not sure how I manage my crazy life but I do it well apparently.
Sort of ticked off at J. Sarg right now....the deadline for fall admissions to the nursing program is April 15th. You have to complete all pre-rec's before applying. I will finish my pre-rec's May...WHY ISNT THE DEADLINE FOR ADMISSIONS IN MAY WHEN SPRING CLASSES END??!! Does that make any sense?? Of course not!!
Weekend Plans- Check out a halloween store to get some last minute costume items. Try not to blow Chris' birthday secret plans (I'm taking him to see Dane Cook in Norfolk!!!!)...Shhh...its a surprise!! Take my neighbors children trick-or-treating!!! Yay!!! Normal house cleaning duties...booo!!

First Post!!

Today is Friday!! I'm so excited for the weekend! I have a doctors appointment around lunch time...and girls night is tonight at the Emily's new place! Work is crazy...somebody got fired yesterday...the reason...for not taking her scheduled lunch at the right time! crazy huh?! What a lame excuse to fire someone.
I'm starting school in two weeks! Studying to be a Registered Nurse! I'm really excited.
I'm taking Math 120, Developmental Psychology 230, Health Science 161, and First Aid and Safety 106. Working full time too!
I'm jumping in and not looking back!
